Marianne Høyland-Eichler, born in Norway in 1973, is a dedicated Norwegian teacher who has lived in several countries and knows how it is to be foreign in a country where you do not know the language. She holds a Master of Arts from Goldsmiths College (UK) and a teacher’s degree within the subjects Norwegian for foreigners, Art and German.
Marianne has been working as a Norwegian teacher abroad and at Agder folkehøgskole since 2014. She loves to read, hike and travel, and believes that every class is meant to be, as we all have something to learn from and contribute to each other.
Marianne loves to hike, sleep outdoors & travel slowly, preferably with a good book. All this in combination with 100% wool. // Come along & let’s go North!
