Beate is from Mandal and works as both a chef and cleaner, though she’s actually a trained baker and pastry chef. That really shows when there’s something to celebrate—she conjures up the most beautiful cakes!
She also co-teaches the elective course International Cuisine. And wherever you meet her, Beate is always smiling.
