John Åge studied music at the University of Agder and has also studied both mathematics and sports at UiA.
He is originally from Stavanger, but his heart has long since settled in Southern Norway. Here, he enjoys life with Rosa—with volleyball and Indian food as clear favorites. In addition, he has greatly enjoyed his time as a pilot, taking in the world from the cockpit.

He is the one who has been at the school the longest. In the early 1990s, he started as a music teacher, and for the past 19 years, he has served as assistant principal. Every morning, he sits at the piano and plays for the morning assembly—a tradition that many greatly appreciate.
