Lars is a teacher on the film track at Agder folkehøgskole and absolutely loves his role. He himself attended folkehøgskole and knows well the concept of “the best year of your life,” perhaps especially since he also met his wife there. Lars is truly passionate about being a positive influence in young adults’ lives and finds joy in contributing to what, for many, becomes one of the best years of their lives.
Lars holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in film and video production from NTNU, as well as a degree in pedagogy from Trondheim. During his bachelor’s, he also had the opportunity to live and study film in California. As a gear enthusiast, producer, and dedicated cinematographer, he has participated in well over 100 film projects.
His goal as a teacher is to foster strong group dynamics, use up-to-date equipment, and create an environment where students can learn and grow—whether they aim to pursue a career in film, continue with further studies, or simply have a creative and social year.
