Tommy has a background as a teacher in subjects such as history, social studies, religious studies, and intercultural communication. After several years with the Strømme Foundation and previous experience as a folkehøgskole teacher, Tommy started the Global Development track at Agder in 2014.

Tommy loves to travel and has visited nearly 60 countries—often a bit off the beaten path: from guerrilla zones in Colombia to the mountains of Lebanon and the border areas between Pakistan and Afghanistan. In his free time, you’ll often find Tommy in a river with a kayak—or on skis.
