Rafting outdoor life

My year at Agder has undoubtedly been the best of my life! I’ve experienced so many incredible things that I never thought I would get the chance to do.

 Emilie Gaustal Selle, tidligere elev

Southern Norway is more than just sun, summer, and beach tourism. Thanks to our mild climate, the outdoor season is long, and we’ll explore many of the nature based activities that draw visitors to both Southern Norway and Rogaland.

Through company visits and participation with various nature-based tourism businesses, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the industry in terms of requirements, skills, challenges, and future prospects. In addition to learning, you’ll experience many exciting activities where mastery, camaraderie, and shared memorable experiences are central.

Everyone who has attended a folk high school says their year was amazing, but you don’t truly understand it until you experience it yourself. I thought the trips and adventures would be the highlights, but it’s the class, the teachers, the friendships, and the sense of community that I miss the most!

A year full of experiences, new skills, and great outdoor adventures. I’ve gained valuable knowledge that I still use today. Simply put, an amazing year where I got to do things I otherwise would never have had the chance to!
