What is a Folk high school?
This is a place where the students and the teachers have the freedom to work with subjects and questions they find important. It is common knowledge that people learn more if they are motivated. This kind of school does not use notes or grades to make you learn. We want you to learn what you want to learn. The desire to learn and develop yourself is one of the most important things you are in possession of. We want you to relocate this feeling if you have lost it. A stay at a folkhighschool will help you understand how important you are, and make you aware of all the opportunities that lie ahead of you.
Agder folkehøgskole
Agder Folkehøgskole is situated in Søgne, a small village 16 km west of the city center, the southern-most city in Norway.
A folkhighschool year starts in late August and ends in the middle of May.
The school is a boarding school with lodgings for 100 students, single and double rooms. The students will have their own key and use their spare time as they like.
